Now in its second year, Unilever and H-E-B brought back the Texas Barber Bracket—this time in Houston, Texas for the NCAA® Men's Basketball Final Four®  Tournament.
We hosted a competition for barbers across the country to compete for a chance to win a $15,000 barber school scholarship.
I had the opportunity to refresh an award-winning campaign and breathe new life into the visual identity. My work can be seen not only in the consumer-facing digital and in-store media placements, but also at the event itself, where I designed everything from barber aprons to tents and all day-of signage.
The cherry on top was getting to meet some of the best up-and-coming barbers in the country and hear their stories.
We also pushed the client to put on an experiential event at the Tip-Off Tailgate, outside of NRG Stadium.
Dubbed the Lone Star Locker Room, patrons could discover and get fresh with Unilever products – the Official Personal Care Products of the NCAA®.
We saw an opportunity for Unilever to connect with an enthusiastic college basketball fanbase. We dropped consumers into a decked-out college locker room experience, complete with a bath tub ball pit, get ready stations, photo-ops, and prize lockers.
From ideation to execution, I was involved every step of the way, designing custom uniforms, rugs, jerseys, and much more.
